Taking Steps

Tucker started taking steps without holding on to anything today. He's getting close to walking.

He also climbed the ladder to the top bunk bed in Carson's room all by himself. It was pretty funny to see a child that tiny climbing like that.

Independence Day

We spent the 4th of July at a family BBQ. Tucker is pictured here with Brielle and Ray; they are all just born months apart from each other, Tucker being the oldest, then Ray, and Brielle.

Carson went to another Home Depot project - doesn't he look so grown up in this picture?

So cute!

Tucker is (almost) One!

Tucker had a pre-birthday party at Grandma's house a few weeks ago. He'll be officially one year on July 13th. It didn't take him long to get frosting on his face. Then we thought, well, let's show him his ACTUAL birthday cake, but as you can see, he didn't care.

Finally getting cleaned up in the kitchen sink.
Thanks for the cakes, Grandma Bea!

We got to roast marshmallows!

We rented a cabin in the Sequoia National Monument area to the south of the National Park.

(Below) Here I am roasting my 20th marshmallow. Oh yeah, and my mom is sitting next to me.

(Below) We went to the trail of 100 Giants, and this was the first giant sequoia on the trail. Most of them had been burned out on the inside, but still seem to be standing tall and doing fine. We could walk through the inside of this one.

(Below)Here I am, getting eaten by the roots of this huge tree.

Carson got a little dirty!

Tucker got to ride in the carrier.

Here we all are atop Dome Rock. Great view from there, as you can kind of see.

Having some lunch after Dome Rock.

My Grandma Nona's House

This is my Grandpa and Grandma's house in Livermore. It was built in the early 1900s. We went there as kids many times a year to visit my Grandparents. But they've been gone for a while now, so we don't see this house more than once every few years. I loved the musty smell upstairs and the front porch, even though we never entered that way. We would always come and go through the back porch, which is seen in the first picture. Right up the hill behind this house is where Clint lives, and where they had the graduation party.

Visit with the G-Parents in Vtown

While in Visalia a few weeks ago, we went up to Livermore for Clint's (Angela's cousin) graduation party. Carson got to ride a horse!

Albert, Clint and Brenda.

Albert, Stella, Ulric, Richard and Carson with Gray the horse.

Carson rides Gray and Uncle Albert leads the way.
